Jackie Kennedy

ABC News will air a two hour special entitled Jacqueline Kennedy: In Her Own Words this Sept. 13th along with Diane Sawyer's exclusive interview with Caroline Kennedy.

These interviews were recorded with Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr. after President John F. Kennedy's death in 1963. There are more than eight hours of recordings, including Jackie Kennedy's impressions of life with John, their time on the campaign trail, their time in the White House and world events that took place during her husband's time in office.

On Sept. 14th, Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations on Life with John F. Kennedy will be published, containing the unedited and complete recordings of the interviews.
