Oprah Winfrey Teaching A Master Class

Want to be schooled by Oprah Winfrey? Now's your chance!

Oprah has been keeping busy since the end of her iconic afternoon talk show. She started a new network, has taken on a new role as CEO, and now she's adding a new title to her resume: Teacher.

Oprah Winfrey

OWN YOUR LIFE (the oprah class) will feature "new insights and life lessons" from the best of the full 25 years of The Oprah Winfrey Show, according to Oprah.com. Wrapped into the show is an online course viewers can take "for an even more enriching experience."

"At Oprah's core, she is a teacher," said Sheri Salata, president, OWN. "OWN YOUR LIFE (the oprah class) is the brand we are building at OWN. This will be a signature series along with Rosie's creative and comedic genius."

The show will air immediately after The Rosie Show, a new project for Rosie O'Donnell completely different from anything we've ever seen her do before.

"With Rosie's authenticity, paired with Oprah's remarkable insights from the past 25 years, there will be two hours every day that viewers won't want to miss," said Erik Logan, president, OWN.

Want to sign up for the online course? Reserve your spot on Oprah's website.

The Rosie Show and OWN YOUR LIFE (the oprah class) premiere Monday, October 10.

I saw the episode with Maya Angelo I love lovelies it. It made me remember my Grandmother. She raised me from a baby until I was 19, I was the Sunday School Secretary from age 11 till 19. I played softball for this George Bush Alstars from 14 till 19. I had my first boyfriend at 19 and was so,so a shame when I became pregnant. 1969 I told my Grandmother I was pregnant and waited for the wrath and what I got was a happy talk. She was elated and told me a child was a blessing and I should be elated too. I told her I was scared and from that point of telling her. She took over. She told everyone and she made me feel like a queen. I could not even go to the restroom alone. In my 8th month I married the baby father. He took over from where she left off. I moved into my husband's home and so did my Grandmother. I never felt guilty for getting pregnant. One thing my Grandmother said was when you conceived you excepted God's Blessing. I told her I loved being pregnant and I wanted 11 more children. She told me if it is God's will you will have them. Well I had 2 girls and 2 boys. I really enjoyed having kids.

I was watching Oprah life Class on December 16, 2011 at 1:00am, and indeed I am always inspired by her teachings and wisdom. But as I was listening to her teaching about cause, and effect, action and reaction, and our intention, a few questions popped into my head. My questions to Oprah are: why do you believe that you are chosen to be a teacher to America, and the world? And do you believe that the message that you have to share in America can only be delivered by you as the chosen one, or do you believe that this role you have under taken is purely by chance, and if so, what exactly is chance?
