Carlos Santana's love of tequila is now within your reach. The guitar great has found a partner in Casa Noble Tequila and that means it's party time!
"We have come together because I love the tequila," Carlos Santana says. "I feel at home with my new family at Casa Noble. They strive for excellence and don't take shortcuts. Just like the music of Santana, one note or one drop... they are the same thing."
It's not just a mutual love of the drink that binds Carlos Santana to Casa Noble, it seems the pair have a shared lineage. "Casa Noble and my family have the same origin -- Jalisco, Mexico. My family roots date back to the 1700s in Jalisco," the 63-year-old explains. "My father is a Huichol Indian. When I visited the distillery, I immediately felt spiritually connected to the Hermosillo family and Casa Noble."
Carlos Santana joins an impressive list of celebrities who have gone the route of marrying their name to a liquor. Friends with Benefits star Justin Timberlake (901 Silver Tequila) and rocker Sammy Hagar (Cabo Wabo Tequila) also have their own tequila brand, while Dan Aykroyd has Crystal Head Vodka. Willie Nelson sells Old Whiskey River Bourbon, Marilyn Manson is credited for the drink known as Mansinthe, and need we point out who is behind Trump Vodka?
