Has the Situation shown off his tanned abs for the last time on Jersey Shore? The fist-pumping guido stormed out of the house yesterday, expressing frustration with the show. Is it all publicity or has his ego gotten the best of him?
Vinny walked out of Jersey Shore last week -- and now it appears Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is following in his footsteps.
The Situation was seen ripping off his microphone and storming out of the Seaside Heights, New Jersey house where the cast is filming. He was later seen holding a suitcase, indicating he was leaving the set for good, however, he did eventually return to the set.
Sources have said that he has been "antsy," and bragging that he doesn't need Jersey Shore anymore.
He was spotted yesterday and was asked by photographers if he was leaving the show -- and he didn't deny it. After someone wished him "good luck," he snapped back: "I don't need luck... I don't need it."
It sounds like the ego has landed!
He is in talks for a "potential series" with MTV but no details have been released. Castmates Snooki and JWoww have already signed on for spin-off shows, so I'm sure the Situation wants to be in the spotlight with his own show.
The Situation is reportedly making around $60,000 per episode on Jersey Shore -- so it seems silly that he would quit the show that has made him famous. There are reports, however, that he could make $5 million this year alone from his clothing line, product endorsements and appearance fees ($15,000 per appearance).
