Leslie Bibb brings the funny in Zookeeper

Leslie Bibb Gets Zany

In Zookeeper, Leslie Bibb has the great distinction of scoring the first laughs in the comedy. Bibb’s achievement is amazing, considering her costar in the movie -- and in that first scene -- is comedian extraordinaire Kevin James.

Zookeeper begins with Kevin James and Leslie Bibb riding a horse on a beach. As they get off the horse, James is set to propose. Only Bibb sees the moment as a chance to break up. Cue laughter.

Audiences should not be surprised. Bibb previously stole laughs from the king of comedy, Will Ferrell, in Talladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby.

But, Bibb is no stranger to dramatic diversity as well. The versatile actress is as adept at comedy as she is at drama with turns in Law Abiding Citizen starring Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx and Iron Man and Iron Man 2 opposite Robert Downey, Jr.

Bibb tells us that she delighted in the opportunity to further hone her comedic skills with Kevin James and look for her to show off more of her funniness when she stars with Jason Sudeikis in A Good Old Fashioned Orgy later this summer.

For now, audiences can delight in her comedic tete-a-tete with James and the animals of Zookeeper. Her character is part ice queen and part vulnerable woman in search of love, as well as the funny foil for James as he learns the ways of love from his zoo animals.
