Hurley shares some gossip!

Gossip Girl is adding a fine addition to its season five guest-star list -- Elizabeth Hurley.

Hurley shares some gossip!Gossip Girlis getting Hurley-fied. Who needs Taylor Momsen when you've got Elizabeth Hurley guest starring on the CW hit show Gossip Girl?

Elizabeth Hurley is heading to the Gossip Girl set when season five hits and this isn't a rumor, people. It's not just for a quick guest-starring role, either. Word has it she's going to be on the scene for a few episodes.

Hurley is going to be playing Diana Payne, whom executive producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran described to TV Line as "a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with."

They added, "Diana's entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters -- including, and especially Gossip Girl herself."

Can Elizabeth Hurley walk the Gossip Girl walk and talk the Gossip Girl talk? Savage and Safran said, "Elizabeth's sense of humor, intelligence and beauty fit the GG world perfectly. We feel very fortunate to have her."

Hurley's last project was a costarring role in NBC's failed Wonder Woman pilot, which is a tad different from the luxe life Blair and the gang lead on Gossip Girl.

Stay tuned for Elizabeth Hurley's official Gossip Girl air date. Will Elizabeth Hurley make a good guest star on the CW's Gossip Girl? We think she'll hold the key to all the secrets. Okay, that was a wee bit dramatic.
