We love a good underdog on America's Got Talent and Cindy Chang pulled on our heart strings so hard that by the end of her audition we would have bought her a ticket to Las Vegas if the judges hadn't.
Unlike the other videos we brought you, such as 11-year-old Anna Graceman and Narcissister, 42-year-old Cindy Chang spent most of her life being told she couldn't sing -- literally. Her family didn't want her to, so she didn't.
The homemaker claimed she was shy but as of recently she has been coming out of her shell. She even let out the cutest little snort when speaking to judges Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel and Piers Morgan.
When she opened her mouth it sounded like heaven was literally housed inside of it. She had the most beautiful operatic voice. It was so pure and on pitch that it would give Susan Boyle a run for her money. We couldn't help but be reminded of an older version of Jackie Evancho.
The reason we saw her as an underdog is because here she was, a homemaker at 42 years old, trying to do something that was completely going against what her family had told her for years.
She also broke down at the end and that's the sign of someone who wants it.
