Halle Berry was seen at family court Tuesday morning and submitted a long court document complaining about her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. The court documents, submitted by her lawyer, claim that Aubry has put their three-year-old daughter Nahla "at risk."
TMZ reports the documents talk about Aubry's parenting skills, including something that happened overseas when Aubry "neglected Nahla, imperiling her safety."
No other details were released, however, he reportedly is not following some guidelines or requirements he is supposed to follow when he has custody of their daughter.
Aubry was not in court today, much to Halle's dismay because she wanted to find him in violation of the custody order. The judge set a hearing for later.
Berry, 44, and Aubry split in April 2010 and have had an ongoing custody feud which seemed to have been resolved. "Halle has serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her," her rep told Us Weekly back in January.
More recently, however, Berry told Extra in April she was happy they could work things out. "When there's a child involved, it's a relief when you can resolve things in a good way. Our issues were never about fighting for her. We both know a child needs both her parents."
So what happened recently to make her fear for Nahla? We may never know but let's hope they can work it out for their daughter.
