File this one under 'TMI' and 'absolutely disgusting.' Former Brady Bunch mom Florence Henderson admitted in her new book that her one-night stand with a former New York City mayor left her with very unwelcome guests.
Henderson, 77, wrote in her new memoir that she cheated on her husband in the 1960s with former mayor John Lindsay after he put the moves on her one night at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Lindsay was the NYC mayor from 1966 to 1973 and died in 2000.
"I was lonely. I knew it wasn't the right thing to do. So, what did I do? I did it," she wrote. Later, she woke up to find a bunch of "little black things" crawling on her body. Her doctor later diagnosed her with a case of pubic lice.
"Guess I learned the hard way that crabs do not discriminate but cross over all socioeconomic strata," Henderson wrote in Life is Not a Stage, out in September. "He must have had quite the active life. What a way to put the kibosh on a relationship."
Ewwww. It's sad that Lindsay is dead though -- he can't defend himself or tell his side of the story.
She also dishes on her past, including personal troubles, Broadway and her time on The Brady Bunch. She also comes clean about her rumored relationship with her on-screen son, Barry Williams. Henderson said she never had a sexual relationship with Williams, who played Greg Brady on the popular sitcom.
"Barry did have a serious crush on me, which I understood and helped him get past," the Dancing With the Stars alum wrote. "Let us just say that if he had entertained a roll in the hay with me, I would never have done it."
Well, that kind of makes up for that other revelation. Kind of.
