Sookie's True Blood Spoiler Alert

There's been much chatter about the witchery of True Blood season four. In prep for this Sunday's premiere, however, HBO has released the first eight minutes of the episode and it's all about Sookie Stackhouse in fairy land! Watch the eight-minute True Blood teaser here. Plus, catch True Blood episode two online right after the big premiere!

True Blood

Wowser, this True Blood season four extended sneak peek will get your blood boiling! Things start out "lovely" as a picture, but by the end of the eight-minute clip, Sookie (Anna Paquin) is facing fire and brimstone.

In the HBO teaser, Sookie starts off in awe over the glorious fairy land, but our Sookie is never one to be fooled. She smart mouths her fairy godmother Claudine (Lara Pulver, BBC's Robin Hood) and is instantly suspicious of the glowing fruit in fairy land. When she spots her MIA grandpa Earl (Gary Cole, Desperate Housewives, The Good Wife), she soon realizes she's right: Much is off in this mystical haven, starting with the delectable and dangerous lumiere fruit. Thanks to the forbidden fruit, her gramps believes he's been gone for hours!

As soon as Sookie wises up, everything shifts. Intimidating Queen Mab (Rebecca Wisocky, 90210, The Mentalist) appears. When Sookie resists, the paradise crumbles around them and she and gramps find themselves on the run. Fairy Claude (Neil Hopkins, Lost) saves the day -- or has she been tricked again?

Queen Mab wants to seal off the fairy land from the human world and get some fairy breeding going; Claude believes fairies should fly free. Check out the clip below to see who you think Sookie should trust.

True Blood premieres Sunday, June 26 at 9 p.m. on HBO and fans don't have to wait a week for the next episode! You Smell Like Dinner will become available on HBOGO.com immediately following the season four premiere on Sunday.

Damn, I thought it was going to follow book four? That's what the teaser a while back made it look like. Not enough Eric.
