Britney Spears kicks off her Femme Fatale tour in Sacramento, California tomorrow and, in case you missed out on buying tickets, we will bring you the inside scoop on her tour costumes.
The Femme Fatale tour costumes were designed by Zaldy Goco, who created outfits to show femme fatales of past and present. Britney will undergo nine costume changes in which she will take on different "action-hero" type identities.
"The true muse for me... is Britney herself," designer Goco tells People. "She has such a clear idea of how she wants to present herself and what she wants to deliver to her fans."
He goes on to share Britney's influence on her costumes. "The idea to create iconic personas or disguises for Britney was really inspirational," he said.
What can you expect? Britney will wear a kimono (a "Japanime Britney"), as well as a snake charmer outfit, "spiky stud couture," and a purple leather jacket that will be covered with thousands of "pink chrome studs, safety pins, spikes and chains." Brit will also wear a flowing white dress, inspired by Marilyn Monroe, and a Toxic-inspired catsuit.
Brit plans on taking the stage in a silver outfit, which Goco says has colorful crystal that "is so pure on stage, the brilliance is like nothing else." She will also rock out in a mirrored gold jacket.
The "piece de resistance" is her closing number outfit which is a black Swarovski crystal-covered outfit that will be lit up with LED lights that animate fire and lightning.
"It's something you haven't seen before," he explains. "We found the one place in America that could make that dream come true."
Britney sounds excited for her costumes -- and her tour. "It's probably one of the most impactful entertainment shows I've ever done," she gushes.
