Crystal Harris Breakup Shocker

Crystal Harris sat down with Ryan Seacrest to explain why she broke off her engagement from Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner.

When it was announced that Crystal Harris called off the wedding to Hugh Hefner, it wasn't much of a surprise. After all, Crystal is 61 years younger than her former fiancé and had been rumored to be seeing Dr. Phil McGraw's son Jordan on the sly.

Now Crystal Harris is telling her side of the story, albeit a very carefully constructed one. She sat down with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday morning to talk about the breakup -- and denied there is any other man in the picture.

After telling Seacrest she is "not seeing someone else," Harris explained her cold feet.

"For a while, I've been having second thoughts about everything," she admitted. "I haven't really been at peace with myself lately. I didn't think it was really fair to him... it was all happening too fast for me... I just thought about it and [asked myself], 'Was this what I wanted?'"

Harris also said she wasn't thrilled with the idea of being one of a harem for the rest of Hugh Hefner's life.

"He understood; we both agreed that it wasn't the best idea to get married... He was doing it for me because he thought it was what I wanted," she said. "I just feel that I owed it to Hef and everyone there to do the right thing and move on... This isn't the lifestyle for me, multiple girls all around -- it's not the lifestyle I wanted."

"We had a long talk about it. I feel happy and at peace that everything will be okay, and I respect him more than anything," she said. "We're still going to be really close."

The breakup came less than a week before the couple's planned wedding at the Playboy Mansion, but not soon enough to prevent Crystal Harris from appearing on the cover of the July Playboy as Mrs. Crystal Hefner. Oopsie!
