Hugh Hefner announced Crystal Harris called off the wedding just five days before the big day via Twitter.
"The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart," he said.
Today, Harris went on Ryan Seacrest to give her side of the story, saying it was a mutual decision. Hefner, on the other hand, took to Twitter to tell his side of the story -- and even cracked a few jokes.
"Since we're not getting married on Saturday, I've scheduled a movie: Runaway Bride. Seems appropriate," he tweeted.
Jokes aside, he also went on rumor patrol, tweeting: "The TMZ report that Crystal and I 'had a nasty argument,' prompting her to call off the wedding, is untrue. There were no arguments."
"The breakup is a heart breaker, but better now than after the marriage," he continued.
He also tweeted about those who came by or contacted him offering their support.
"Bridget Marquardt came by to give me her loving support. Very dear," he said. "My ex, Kim Conrad, & her mother, came by to lend their emotional support. I appreciate it."
Many are questioning the timing of Harris' release this week of her new single on iTunes called Club Queen, including Hefner himself. He re-tweeted a tweet saying, "Crystal Harris left Hugh Hefner the day her single came out on iTunes. Coincidence? I think not."
