Fan favorite Ashley Hebert has won the hearts of America by showcasing herself as a real woman with real feelings, who is looking for her true love. Not since the likes of the first Bachelorette, Trista Sutter, have audiences rooted so hard for someone to find their soul mate.
Now it seems that Ashley has more on her plate than just finding Mr. Right. Rumor has it, ABC television (who produces both The Bachelorette and Dancing With the Stars) is rallying hard to have Ashley appear on the newest season of the hit dancing show, slated to begin in September. ABC's rep tell SheKnows no celebrities have been confirmed yet.
While the cast has yet to be revealed (the official announcement will happen in August), sources online are saying a Dancing With the Stars insider claimed Ashley and the network are in talks, and if she is interested in taking on this challenge, the role is hers.
If Ashley does head over to Dancing, she will be following in the footsteps of fellow Bachelor and Bachelorette alums, Melissa Rycroft, Jake Pavelka and Trista Sutter.
Ashley has a dance background (she grew up taking dance classes), she teaches dance and minored in dance in college. The show has already showcased her moves in episode two, where she challenged the men to a dance-off to win her affections.
During her downtime from The Bachelorette (while we wait to see who she ultimately picks as her true love), Ashley is teaching a dance class at the Maine Dance Academy in Caribou, Maine, according to Colleen Duplessie who runs the school. Ashley was confirmed to teach hip hop and contemporary dance this summer. Between that and finishing up her dental studies (Ashley is a student at UPenn Dental School, where she is studying to be a dental assistant), Ashley is certainly one of television's busiest women!
