MC Hammer is a Juggalo

MC Hammer's
Juggalo Performance

MC Hammer is set to join the ranks of the Insane Clown Posse with a performance at their Gathering of the Juggalos this summer.

MC Hammer appearing at the Gathering of the Juggalos

MC Hammer is either really, really smart or really, really stupid. The Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em rapper agreed to perform at the Insane Clown Posse's Gathering of the Juggalos.

Whaaa? Exactly. Hammer is on the bill to perform -- along with other "performers" Psycho Jesus and Lil Wyte at the August event in Illinois.

You might remember that little incident at last year's event when model (?) Tila Tequila was violently attacked by P.O.ed Juggalos.

"I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, DUDES were throwing HUGE STONE ROCKS in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair on fire cuz they threw fire crackers on stage, and they even took the [expletive] out of the port-O-potty and threw [expletive] and piss at me when I was onstage," Tequila told TMZ afterward.

It was kind of serious -- she did have some nasty cuts and bruises from it. Rapper Method Man was also pelted with rocks and other assorted nastiness in the incident.

So, now Hammer's going to perform -- and we're not sure he'll fare much better. However, Vanilla Ice has performed there in the past, so maybe it won't be so bad.

Maybe he'll back out? Nah -- he likely really, really, really needs the money.

The bigger question: Who actually attends the Gathering of the Juggalos?

Exactly Preston, Method Man had only one person actually throw something at him and the crowd went nuts an beat up the kid that threw it. Red Man even told Method that he should get off stage an clean up the blood (which wasnt even all THAT much) and Method said "f*** that, Im here to do a show and so Im going to do a F****** showw! F*** that kid that threw s*** at me" About Tila, I personally am getting really annoyed with hearing about this. First off, I am a juggalette and have been for almost 10 years. I, nor anyone that I know, would ever participate or allow someone we were friends with to participate in that event. This is going to be my 3rd or 4th gathering, and Tila was the first person that I have ever heard of being attacked. I also was told that people had been telling her for MONTHS not to even show up at the gathering. Did she fail to mention she was warned but was too arogant (or really really need the money)and still showed up? There is always a bad apple in the bussel, and there is always going to be someone that has to give us all a bad name. There is no greater group of people than the juggalos. Im not saying that because I am one. Even before I knew what a juggalo was, they had always been great people. Out of the 6,000 (rough number) that was at the event, maybe 100 people or so (again, rough number) were the ones throwing things at her. As someone said before, we do throw things in general. Boredem, playing around, ETC. HELL! If your doing a show at someone throws faygo at you, its concidered to be a good thing. The Insane Clown Posse started that tradition 15 years ago. Some people take it too far, and then try to hurt another person. Just please remember that its not all of us. I refuse to be friends with any one of the a**holes that threw and try to hurt Tila Tequilla. Please quit bringing that instance up, and quit trying to say that it is going to happen to everyone else that goes to perform. Just because out of 6000 people, 100 of them are just bad people in general, doesnt make everyone there a bad person.

I highly doubt that Hammer is a Juggalo, but you never know. Coolio played The Gathering and it turned him Juggalo. That and whatever he was smoking while there. He looked whacked out his mind. But it was a hell of a performance. Plus I met Hater Mark and we smoked his ass down with something real nice. Good times indeed.

You say Method Man was hit with rocks and that is not true. Reported by other news sites and witnessed by these own two eyes. A full Budweiser beer can was launched by a "man" in the crowd about 35 feet away from Meth and it completely blind-sided him. Tila i cannot explain with anymore than Juggalos and Lettes throw stuff, youtube it, it's how we kill time. But some s take it to that eventual next level and throw nasty, and hard fun for us either. Back to Method, he and Redman came out on stage calling us jiggalos(acceptable) and saying "what's up Illinois?!",'bout 10% of that crowd is Illinois, me being one of them, and the rest are east coast/west coast, and they drove a long-hot miserable time to be there. That's when things got really still and quiet, which they noticed, and about five minutes later, whamm-o. Then things got more tense, if it was possible to, but nothing happened. They rapped and left, and i was inches away from a Ninja who traded a bag of something with Redman out his bus window for a bottle of what looked like Crown Royal. That's the real cheesr from this here rat. woot

I was front stage when Method Man was supposedly attacked. There was no rocks being thrown at Method Man. Only one fan threw a single can of beer that was unopened and hit him in his mouth. I didn't see the guy who threw it but I heard from the people around him that he got beat up for throwing a beer can at Method.
