As if the R&B star didn't have enough tattoos already, Chris Brown has added yet another tattoo to his body, and this one's really strange. A photograph of Brown's latest ink showed up in a Twitpic posted by model Karrueche Tran, Brown's current girlfriend.
The image shows Brown from the back, and the tattoo is located between his shoulder blades. So, what is it?
It's a smiley face with a wide-open mouth that reveals a human skull underneath. Creepy. As for what the smiling skeleton head means, Brown and Tran aren't saying. Tran tweeted only: "Breezy tat! Smiley." Breezy is Brown's nickname.
If we had to put money on it (and we don't), we'd figure Brown sees his new tattoo as some sort of representation of his true self -- smiling on the outside but dark on the inside.
This sure fits with Brown's past relationship with ex-girlfriend Rihanna. After a dispute with the singer, Brown was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats.
Brown got his first tattoo when he was 13. In addition to the smiley face back piece, he has, among others, a tattoo of Jesus and a tattoo of a skull with a halo over it.
Rihanna and Brown shared a love of tattoos. Rihanna has 15 tattoos, including stars on her neck and "Love" on her finger.
How many tattoos is too many tattoos?
