Shania Twain is returning to the CMT Music Awards for the first time in seven years. The country superstar will be making a "special appearance," so we're assuming she will be just presenting -- but we are also holding out hope she will sneak in a little performance!
Twain, who just released her autobiography From This Moment On, will also be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today. Her Come on Over album is the best-selling country LP of all time and has sold over 40 million copies.
Justin Bieber will not only be presenting at the CMT Music Awards, but is also nominated for an award for the song That Should Be Me, on which he collaborated with Rascal Flatts.
Check out the great line-up of performers, including Lady Antebellum, Big & Rich, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith and the Zac Brown Band. Luke Bryan and Sheryl Crow will both perform and present at the CMT Awards.
What about American Idol winner Scotty McCreery? He is slated to present, as is runner-up Lauren Alaina. Other presenters include Sara Evans, Kristin Chenoweth, Dancing With the Stars winner Hines Ward and the Green Bay Packers' Clay Matthews. Sounds like a great show!
The 2011 CMT Music Awards, hosted for the second time by Kid Rock, will air next Wednesday, June 8th at 8 p.m. ET.
