Jennifer Lopez's best and worst American Idol looks

Jennifer Lopez almost always looks amazing -- from her stylish clothes to her hair and makeup. Her style on American Idol has been fun, funky and modern... and somehow her makeup even looks great when she is crying!

Her stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn almost always get it right, however, there have been a couple of looks we could have done without.

Let's start with her best American Idol looks!

Jumpsuits are a huge trend right now, and Lopez looked awesome in this silver jumpsuit during her first official appearance as an American Idol judge. I also love her long, layered wavy hair. Gorgeous!

During Motown week, JLo looked amazing in this black and gold Gucci dress. "We've been waiting for the perfect time to showcase this dress," Zangardi told InStyle. "Jennifer always looks so hot in Gucci! The gold chain detail was our favorite part."

During the Elton John themed week, Lopez wore an amazing Badgley Mischka purple, pink and gold sequin one-shoulder dress. She wore Christian Louboutin shoes and Vahan jewelry. "The dress fit her body perfectly," Haenn told InStyle. "She looked amazing!"
