Brad Pitt's Ginormous Family
Brad Pitt says his huge family with Angelina Jolie is exactly what he dreamed of since he was a kid.
Think Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's quick-sprouting gaggle of kids is a bit much? Brad says it's exactly what he's always wanted.
"I know it seems extreme from the outside, but I've always kind of operated this way," Pitt told the Associated Press while promoting Tree of Life at Cannes. "When I know, I know, and why mess around?" "I had a friend who had a big family when I was a kid," he explained. "I just loved the chaos around the breakfast table and the fighting and the ribbing, and the mom making pancakes for everyone or the dad making pancakes." "I just decided then if I was ever going to do it -- this left some indelible mark on me -- if I was ever going to do it, that's the way I was going to do it." Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are raising six children together: Maddox, now eight, whom Jolie adopted prior to her relationship with Pitt; Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
