Maria Shriver got in a subtle-yet-effective dig at her cheating husband Arnold Schwarzenegger while honoring her good friend Oprah Winfrey at the star's big goodbye bash.

They say looking good is the best revenge. Maria Shriver had that down pat at the star-studded taping of Oprah's goodbye episode in Chicago last night, resplendent in a sparkling, clingy blue gown.

But it's what she said that really caught the crowd's attention.

Less than 24 hours after her husband Arnold Schwarzenegger announced he has a secret love child, Maria Shriver got up on stage in front of thousands of people -- plus the millions more who will view the show when it airs later this month -- and expertly managed to toast her friend Oprah Winfrey while getting in a really good dig at her no-good hubby.

"For more than 30 years you have bestowed upon me the most amazing friendship," said Shriver, who outside of Gayle King is one of Oprah's closest BFFs.

"You have shown love, support, wisdom, and most of all," she said, with a long pregnant pause, "the truth."

The crowd erupted as Oprah yelled, "The truth!" while clutching Maria's hand tightly.

Maria was at dinner with Oprah on Sunday night when she got the call that Arnold was going public with the news of his illegitimate kid.
