Radar Online has done a little investigative digging into the Kate Gosselin stalker case and turned up some disturbing information. A Twitter user known as GeorgeHarvey2, who follows Kate Gosselin, has apparently been making inappropriate tweets and claims to be a member of the highly controversial organization NAMBLA.
One of Kate Gosselin's Twitter followers observed, "He also made several inappropriate tweets involving porn as well as the young girl who was raped and murdered in the film The Lovely Bones." George Harvey, apparently the stalker's name inspiration, is the name of the character who murders a girl in that movie.
Twitter following fans alerted Kate about the user known as GeorgeHarvey2, and her own security team took over from there. The mystery stalker has since been blocked from following Kate Gosselin's account.
Kate, who recently spent Mother's Day weekend at the Kentucky Derby sans children, took a moment on Tuesday to thank her vigilant fans by tweeting, "Thanks4watching out 4 me. I haven't been on Twitter much but clearly u have been."
Multiple Twitter users have tried alerting TLC, the cable network behind Kate Gosselin's Kate Plus 8 show, but to no avail. A spokesperson for TLC said the network has no comment on the issue.
Is there any way that reality show children can be kept safe from people like Kate Gosselin's pedophile stalker?
