Donald Trump dumps presidential bid

Were you hoping for some super-cool Trump for President bumper stickers this year? Sorry to break your heart, but Donald Trump has decided not to run after all.

Trump announced the news in his usual grandiose, self-aggrandizing way.

"I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run I would be able to win the primary and ultimately the general election," Trump said. "Ultimately business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector."

The ever-modest Trump said it was a hard decision, "especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country."
