Heather Mills sustained a shoulder injury while skiing in a training session for the 2014 Paralympics Winter Games. Paul McCartney’s ex-wife uses a prosthetic leg and has reportedly just been released from an Austrian hospital.
Heather Mills was flown by a helicopter to an Austrian hospital after crashing into a frozen plastic pole while snow skiing, say reports. She suffered a fractured right shoulder blade and was released today. "That's skiing, you know," Mills told reporters.
Mills has not said if she will stay in Austria or head back to Britain to recuperate.
The ex-wife of Paul McCartney uses a prosthetic leg and was training for the Paralympics Winter Games in 2014. She reportedly bought a house in southern Austria as well.
Mills, 40, and McCartney were married for four years before having a nasty divorce in 2008 and they have one daughter together. She reportedly got $50 million in the divorce. McCartney is currently engaged to businesswoman Nancy Shevell.
Mills recently said she is considering adopting another child. "I wouldn't have another child because the world is already too overpopulated but I might adopt one."
