Now that Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon, is all of 14, the Material Girl has decided it's time for her to become a pop icon, natch. Has Madonna gone too far this time?
The two have collaborated on a song, It's So Cool, which Madonna may include on her next album or on the soundtrack to her upcoming movie, W.E. Initially, Madonna didn't want to cast her daughter in the film, but ultimately she decided to let Lourdes play a small role.

Madonna, 52, has big plans for her daughter. "Madonna hopes Lourdes will step into her shoes and become one of the biggest female artists in the world," a source told The Sun. "She is the perfect mentor for her daughter and is keen to assist her first steps into the music industry."
Following in her mother's footsteps is nothing new to Lourdes. She appeared as a dancer in her mother's Celebration video, and the two collaborated on a Material Girl clothing line.
But can the kid sing? "Lourdes has a great voice and plenty of character, like her mother," the source said. The song was recorded in 2003 and released as a bonus track on Celebration, but Lourdes' contribution was removed.
