The real Klaus reveals himself

This week on The Vampire Diaries, the arrival of the real Klaus and the pending sacrifice has everyone scrambling to find the best way to make sure Elena makes it out alive.

There are only three episodes left until The Vampire Diaries season two finale -- can you handle it? This week on an all-new episode of The Vampire Diaries, called The Last Day, with the full moon on track and the sacrifice upon them, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) spend the day together wondering if it could be their last, hence the intense name of the episode.

The Vampire Diaries

Damon (Ian Somerhalder) takes matters into his own hands to make sure Elena doesn't end up in the hands of Klaus (Joseph Morgan). His extreme moves continue to keep him and Stefan at odds over the best way to protect Elena and everyone involved -- causing a full-on "conflict."

Something tells us Damon is not going to trust Elijah's info on how to save the doppelganger -- you know, the info they cleverly skimmed over on last week's Vampire Diaries?

Our favorite junior werewolf in training, Tyler (Michael Trevino), returns to town after receiving an unsettling phone call.

There are television shows that spend weeks building up momentum for one gigantic payoff and then there's The Vampire Diaries -- a show that's consistently delivered big with every passing episode. Do you think The Last Day will keep up with the trend?

If you can't wait, check out the preview of The Last Day and tell us what you think.
