MTV's Violent Stars
JWoww from MTV's Jersey Shore and a pair of 16 and Pregnant newcomers are all caught up in violent scandals. Is MTV's reality television getting more dangerous by the minute?
Did JWoww stab her BF?
The ex-boyfriend of Jersey Shore star Jenni "JWoww" Farley is alleging that the 25-year-old stabbed him in a jealous rage. Tom Lippolis tells Star magazine, "Jenni put a kitchen knife through my entire arm. I thought she was going to kill me."
JWoww's stabbing wounds, inflicted in March 2010, were no joke. Tom claims he required 37 stitches to close up the damage JWoww's drunken rage did to his arm. The cause of all the drama? Tom, who was both boyfriend and manager of JWoww at the time, posed for a picture with another woman.
Take it with a grain of salt, though. JWoww once confessed on MTV's Jersey Shore After Hours that her ex-BF used to verbally and physically abuse her. On a Season 3 episode, JWoww returned home to discover Lippolis had abandoned her two dogs, trashed her home and stole a hardrive containing personal documents and childhood photos. Could Lippolis be spreading lies to make a quick buck? JWoww has yet to respond to the stabbing allegations.
But the MTV violence does not end there.
16 and Pregnant punch-out
The latest season of MTV's 16 and Pregnant has only aired one episode but the drama is at an all-time high.
Jennifer Del Rio claims Josh Smith attacked her and threatened to have her raped. Yet it was 19-year-old Josh who showed up with a bloody nose on TMZ, along with the claim that it was Jennifer who punched him.
To hear Jennifer tell the story, however, Josh set her up. The 17-year-old says Josh punched himself in the face, called the cops, and then lied to them.
The pair, whose episode of 16 and Pregnant has yet to air, are parents to twin boys.
Teen Mom fist fights
This isn't the first time fists have flown with MTV's teen moms. Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was charged with disorderly conduct for a recent brawl with a female acquaintance over -- of course -- a boyfriend.
Teen Mom's Amber Portwood still faces felony domestic abuse charges for punching and kicking boyfriend and baby daddy Gary Shirley.
