Gary Busey’s one-year-old son Luke is hospitalized in Los Angeles, however, his rep is not going into specifics as to his illness.
Gary Busey, who was just eliminated Sunday on Celebrity Apprentice, is in the hospital with his one-year-old son Luke who is being treated for an unspecified illness.
Busey's rep would only say it was a "childhood illness" and that Luke is expected to return home with Busey, 77, and his fiancé, Steffanie Sampson, 40, by the end of this week.
"Luke Busey, one-year-old son of Steffanie Sampson and Gary Busey, is being treated for a childhood illness at Cedars Sinai and is expected to be going home by the end of the week," the rep said in a statement to Access Hollywood.
The actor and his girlfriend were excited at the birth of their first child together last year. "This feels like a dream," they said in a statement. "We feel so blessed and are overwhelmed with happiness at Luke's arrival."
Busey also has two children from previous relationships, including 38-year-old Jake Busey and 17-year-old Alectra.
"Gary is very grateful to his fans for their love and support," his rep says. "Steffanie and Gary thank everyone for their get well prayers for Luke."
