Twilight's Robert Pattinson gets a tan in his new movie Water for Elephants, in which he plays a veterinary student that works for the circus taking care of the animals. He falls in love with the star of the equestrian act, Marlena, played by Reese Witherspoon, however, she is already married to the animal trainer, played by the wonderful Christoph Waltz.
The newly married Witherspoon, 35, recently told reporters that even though she and Pattinson had a hot and heavy love scene, it was a turn-off! She said the 24-year-old hunk had "the most hideous, horrible cold of any co-star I've ever had to do a love scene with" and he was "literally snotting through every second of it. It wasn't sexy."
Pattinson's response? "Listen, I had a cold and kept apologizing to Reese, who has since revealed to the press that I had the worst sinus infection when I was kissing her. I was so embarrassed!"
Somehow I think snot or not, many ladies would not mind making out with RPatz!
Despite his little cold, the Water for Elephants costume designer Jacqueline West said that Pattinson reminds her of Brad Pitt, whom she worked with in the past. "He's kind of perfect," she told MTV. "He's easy, like Brad in that way. You can't put anything on them that they don't look good in."
Directed by Francis Lawrence, this PG-13 movie is based on the bestselling novel with the same title and is out April 22. Stay tuned for our exclusive interviews with Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon!
