After 25 years as the reigning queen of daytime, Oprah Winfrey made it clear the last year of The Oprah Winfrey Show would only feature the guests she's always wanted. The final month should be stocked with amazing guests, but the biggest names on that list will no doubt be President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama!
The president and first lady are set to sit down with Winfrey on April 27 for an interview that will air May 2. The interview is being touted as Winfrey's first sit-down with the couple since 2006, but she actually met up with the Obamas for 2009's Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special and has met with the president and first lady separately over the years.
With President Obama having officially announced his candidacy for president in 2012, it's not clear how political things will get when the first couple sits down with Oprah this time. The last time she sat down with them, the couple chatted about surviving a life in politics, date nights and what a slob Barack Obama is, but not politics directly.
Tune in to The Oprah Winfrey Show May 2 to see what Barack and Michelle Obama reveal this time.
