Miranda Lambert: ACM Winner!

The 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards took over the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas Sunday night. Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum had luck and talent on their sides, as the country acts walked away the big winners of the night. Taylor Swift also managed to pick up the most coveted award of the night -- Entertainer of the Year.

Miranda Lambert

The 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards kicked off from the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, blending country's hottest acts with some noted names in rock and R&B. Carrie Underwood rocked the stage with Steven Tyler -- and a nice set of pink extensions -- while Rihanna teamed up with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles. Watching Carrie Underwood strut her stuff to Walk This Way will definitely be one for the ACM record books.

While the acts were hot, the winners were even hotter. Spitfire Miranda Lambert came into the Academy of Country Music Awards a top nominee and The House That Built Me singer didn't disappoint. She was introduced by her fiance and the awards co-host, Blake Shelton, before giving a goosebump-inducing performance like she always does. The "it" girl of country walked away with four awards including song, video and single of the year for The House That Built Me. Lambert also took home Female Vocalist of the Year.

Lady Antebellum also made a strong showing, taking home a few awards including Vocal Group of the Year, while Taylor Swift nabbed Entertainer of the Year from seasoned veterans like Keith Urban and Brad Paisley.

Sorry, but tired of Taylor Swift being shoved in our faces when there are a lot more talented and gifted entertainers out there. Would like to know the criterior of the category for Entertainer of the year. She is not that entertaining just walking around in her videos.
