Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake may have split up after three years together, but the 38-year-old actress insists there is no bad blood between them. In fact, she gushed over his comedic talents in their new movie together, Bad Teacher.

Diaz told Us magazine that Timberlake is a "genius comedian...he's clearly talented. We went for the best person for the job, and it just so happened that it was him. And he delivers."
She said he plays his character in Bad Teacher spot-on. "He's frickin' weird in movies. He's so bizarre and hilarious. I say that with great respect to his character and what he's done!"
Diaz said she wasn't upset that he got the role -- in fact she thought he was the best choice! "No, it's great. Justin and I have always had a good laugh together, and to make a movie where we get to have a laugh together, and there really was no one else who was more perfect for this part," she said.
She went on to say there was nothing to make of working with her ex. "[Just] two people who were working together, who just so happened to have gone out with one another at another time in our lives," she continued. "It really wasn't a big deal. We had a great time and did the job, and we do what all actors do afterward: We all go our separate ways. We'll all come back together for the premiere."
Timberlake is newly single, having broken up with longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel last month, while Diaz is dating Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.
Even though Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz have moved on, we can't help but wonder: Do you think they made a good couple?
