Drew Barrymore is getting behind the camera again. Barrymore's sophomore directorial effort will be a rom-com called How to Be Single.
Drew Barrymore isn't just nice. She's pretty darn talented as well. She is an actress, producer and now, for the second time, director.
Barrymore is back in the director's chair for New Line's How to Be Single. In the same vein as films like He's Just Not That Into You and Valentine's Day, the film is a romantic comedy and based on the 2008 novel by Liz Tuccillo.
Barrymore made her directing debut with 2008's roller derby film Whip It.
She'll be producing the film with her Flower Films partner Nancy Juvonen.
How to Be Single follows the lives, loves and losses of a group of New Yorkers over a period of ten years.
It's wonderful to see another woman in on the directing game, especially someone as talented as Drew Barrymore.
Next up for Barrymore, she will be seen in the Universal film Everybody Loves Whales.
