Lady Gaga is releasing her brand-new single Born This Way early to the delight of her many fans. The single's original release was slated to drop on February 13, the same day as the Grammy Awards, but Lady Gaga tweeted the good news on February 7: "Can't wait any longer, single coming Friday."
The anticipation has been growing since nothing but amazing things have been heard of Born This Way. Even Elton John has been heard singing the single's praises, claiming it will be the I Will Survive of our generation.
Born This Way's debut was tapped to go down on iTunes February 13 but the demand was just so high she couldn't wait. She originally tweeted on February 1, "So many nights I've wept, too many thoughts to say. But now it's less than 12 days left, till I was Born This Way. X Mother Monster."
That shows how fast Gaga can turn things around for her fans.
Celebrity guru Perez Hilton has previewed the track and if his thoughts are any indication, we'll be blown away. "Fans can expect all the hype to be true with Born This Way and with the album," he shared. "And you know what? It is a very gay song -- unapologetically, gay-in-your-face gay -- but it's also a universal song that can relate to everyone. To all of us outsiders, to all of us freaks, to all of us who feel different. And the music is undeniable. It sounds like a smash. It is a smash. It is one of the best songs of Gaga's career."
