Bieber fever hits NYC! His 3-D, autobiographical film Never Say Never premiered in the Big Apple last night to screaming crowds and weeping fans. We'll give you all the Bieber-licious details.
Oh, admit it. You love the Biebs. His 3-D film Never Say Never premiered in New York City last night and hordes of screaming fans showed up to cheer him on. Even some A-list celebrities hit the carpet for the event, including Russell Simmons, Daniel 'Diggy' Simmons, Lynsey Mickolas, L.A. Reid and director Jon M. Chu.
The premiere was held at the Regal-E 13, and Justin Bieber walked the carpet wearing all black with a purple bow tie and shades. Well, if you're a super famous 16-year-old, what else are you going to wear?
Chu was recently asked by MTV News about how much teasing his buddies gave him when he signed on for the project. He replied, "There's always people [giving me flak], whether it's the Step Up movies, dance movies or the Justin Bieber movie. People will make fun of you, but now they truly have the fever, for sure. Since [I signed on], he's won four American Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, he's nominated for two Grammys, he's on the cover of Vanity Fair, and I think they've fallen for him as well."
Insiders who have seen the film, including a few we would never call "Beliebers," have described the film as inspiring, fun and definitely worth a viewing. Plus, those bangs must look amazing in 3-D!
