BBC series goes to SyFy

Supernatural beings are all the rage these days, from Twilight to True Blood. Vampires, werewolves and ghosts keep us glued to screens, both large and small. We've got a brand new clip from the upcoming SyFy series, Being Human, that excels in that supernatural vein. I promise, even fans of the BBC version are going to love this!

Maybe you've watched the BBC version of Being Human, a show where a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf live together and try to blend in. I certainly have. It's one of my favorite TV shows of all time. So believe me when I say, after seeing the first three episodes of the SyFy re-imagining, you're going to love this one too.

Being Human on SyFy

Sam Witwer, who plays the vampire Aidan, told me at the TCA's that the people involved with the original show have been closely involved with the American Being Human. Although the show starts out in roughly the same place, these are going to be two completely different roads.

Aidan's trying to quit human blood cold turkey and having a rough time. He decides to move in with werewolf Josh (Sam Huntington) and try to blend into society.

But as they're settling in, they realize they're not alone as they are sharing space with a ghost (Meaghan Rath). And let us know if you're looking forward to the show as much as I am. Being Human premieres Monday, January 17 at 9 p.m. on SyFy.
