Law & Order LA mass exit!

Law and Order: Los Angeles is set in a town known for routinely breaking the hearts of performers, so it's probably no surprise that this freshman show is kicking out three of its actors. First it was Regina Hall and Megan Boone. Now we're hearing that Skeet Ulrich is leaving the show. Hollywood is a cruel, cruel place.

Law and Order: Los Angeles is about to have a mass exodus. First we hear the news that Regina Hall, who plays ADA Evelyn Price, and Megan Boone, who plays D.D.A. Lauren Stanton, were being written out of the show. Now Deadline tells us that Skeet Ulrich's Detective Rex Winters is out as well.

Law & Order LA mass exit!

According to the site, creator Dick Wolf is trying to take the show back to his original format, with two cops, one ADA and one D.D.A. Wolf stated that when he landed both Alfred Molina and Terrence Howard, he had to split screen time. With the new restructuring, Molina's D.D.A. Ricardo Morales, who was an LAPD Detective years ago, will return to the force, allowing Howard's Jonah Decker to be the sole D.D.A. They are reportedly auditioning actresses to play a new ADA to work under Decker.

It makes sense to give those two more to do, but it seems a bit silly to rework a show this much in the middle of a season. Ulrich's character will leave after the 14th episode. The show is currently filming its 12th episode and will return in February. What do you think of Ulrich's departure? Let us know!
