Terminator 2: Judgment Day actor Edward Furlong attended The Green Hornet premiere on Monday in L.A. and was "in the best mood," a friend of the actor said.
That mood has undoubtedly soured after learning he would be taken into custody for violating the restraining order by coming within 50 feet of his ex last month.
The 33-year-old actor and Kneeland have a son, 4-year-old Ethan, and are in the middle of a messy divorce.
Kneeland alleges that last September, Furlong "grabbed me, bruised me, pushed me...left messages saying he would hire people to come and beat me with chains and bats. He is smoking cocaine and doing other various drugs. He is very unpredictable."
Even though Furlong denied everything, the judge ordered a three-year restraining order and required him to undergo counseling.
Furlong was arrested and taken into custody while in court for a hearing on the restraining order. TMZ is reporting he just posted his $75,000 bail and is out of jail.
Furlong's next probation violation hearing will be on Valentine's Day, of all days.
