The People's Choice Awards signal the beginning of award season in Hollywood, a period in which we're treated to some of the best -- and worst -- fashion has to offer.

Khloe Kardashian looked stunning in this oyster gray draped strapless gown. That hair color is much less harsh and way more flattering on her than the near-black she was sporting along with her sisters, and she looks genuinely happy. In fact, she appears to be glowing. Kind of like you glow when you're pregnant. Kind of like how Angelina Jolie looked when she wore an cream and brown ombre version of what appears to be the same dress to the 2008 SAG Awards when she was pregnant with twins. Hmmm…
Marigold can be a difficult color to pull off, and Lucy Hale does it flawlessly. Channeling her inner Michelle Williams by pairing the bold hue with bright red lips [a la Williams during her Oscar appearance with Heath Ledger] the Pretty Little Liars star keeps it fresh with pewter-colored jewelry and a burgundy pedi.
Minka Kelly did what many stars can't manage to at award shows: Look totally unique, yet still pretty and fashionable. The Friday Night Lights star [and Derek Jeter's girl] looked lovely in a dress whose shape, color and pattern was completely unique to anyone else there. The only thing missing? The engagement ring Jeter reportedly gave her a while back. By the way, if you're trying this look at home make sure to invest in some dress tape, otherwise you'll be a walking wardrobe malfunction with that neckline.
This is how you wear ruffles [alert Raven Symone]! Selena Gomez hasn't had the most stellar of weeks, what with all the death threats and having to share her hair product with boyfriend Justin Bieber, but she managed to shake off the haters and looks beautiful -- and age-appropriate -- in this one-shoulder mini dress with peep toe heels and perfectly wavy hair.
