Is That So Wrong?

Is Julianne Hough’s new video Is That So Wrong too hot for Country Music Television?

Julianne HoughJulianne Hough isn't the first singer to gyrate on a bed in skimpy PJ's on a music video (Miley Cyrus, Madonna) -- but Country Music Television (CMT) reportedly thinks the video is too hot for its viewers.

The former Dancing With the Stars pro dancer's second album is set to drop in 2011, and her first single is already creating buzz thanks to her hot video. No publicity is bad publicity, right?

Julianne Hough, who is currently dating Ryan Seacrest, is seen in the video dancing in skimpy pajamas -- and at one point even does a flip into the splits onto her bed.

During a performance last week, Hough told audience members before performing her song, "This next song -- funny story. I shot a music video for it...and [Country Music Television] kind of banned it."

Hough's video is not available on the CMT website, however, the network claims it is over stalled contract negotiations, not because it was banned.

Check out the video and tell us: Too hot for CMT?

I use to really like Julianne but I think she USED handsome Chuck Wickes to get ahead in country music and this artice is for Julianne to sell her music. I think she is going to get no further then Jessica Simpson (at least I hope so) her voice is not that great.)

Ok so Lady Gaga does all this extra unnecessary stuff in "Telephone" and Kanye West's "Monster" video is a "guilty pleasure" but Julianne can't do a split? What? Is she not famous enough?? The media is truly interesting.

Silly to ban this video... if u listen its singing about being lonely. So its all right for LeeAnn Rimes to b in her ti-shirt n panties or Faith Hill under a sheet naked n rolling around in the bed. Julianne's voice is in the same category as Kelly Pickler. Worst singer in music is TSwift but one heck of a song writer for the kiddies who don't care how she sings as long as she's got the right words for them. Double standard exists...a lot of the male country singers have more risque videos...for instant Trace Adkins "One Hot Mama." How about Toby Keith..oh i could name a lot more. Bunch of hypocrites! Seen worst videos or commercials on utube or tv. How about Christina Aguilera "Not Myself Tonight?"

Faith Hill's breathe was just as racy as this video is. So come on CMT lets play it loud and proud.

Don't understand the supposed ban or comments on her voice. The words to this song state what a lot of people go through in life. The video is shot in an environment that is real... home, lonely, getting ready for bed or changing clothes from a long day... perhaps. Her voice is fine for this song. She conveys the message which is what artists are supposed to do. What might make it "too hot" is Julianne herself. She is beautiful and can dance like no other artist. Please don't hate her because she can sing too.

WOW someone should really keep her mouth closed and stick to dancing. HORRIBLE! What does this video with her taking her clothes off match the lyrics to this song? IF she wanted to show off her body so much consider posing for playboy instead of trying to make people deaf with this stupid song and video!

I think all the talk and the hype is nothing but wool being pulled over sheep's eyes. Creating attention and buzz for an upcoming album release. Because i don't think CMT banned anything and have yet to see or find any proof than any such video actually exist. Everything, this article included, is one dead link after another. Nice try, Julianna. But we're on to you and your publicity ploys. But your fans and the general public don't appreciated being played for mere financial gain and that's all this is. Dishonesty will never pay out as much as truth and genuine character. Amy

I am sorry but Julianne Hough has a TERRIBLE voice. Yes...it's way to racy for this venue. However, that being said, she absolutely can't sing. I don't understand how she ever got any music published. It's so bad.
