Trouble In The Gosselin House?

Two of the six-year-old twins of Jon and Kate Gosselin have been expelled from their private school in Pennsylvania.

It must be tough to grow up in the spotlight, like the eight children made famous from the reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8. Every mishap and mistake is documented, including the news that two of the Gosselin twins, Collin and Alexis, have been expelled from their private school.

Kids are being homeschooled

Sources are saying both six-year-olds are now being homeschooled. There have been reports of violence and bullying, however, once source tells People that those reports are exaggerated.

"They've fought with their peers, called them nasty names and made fun of other kids," a source told InTouch magazine.

Going through difficult time

"The situation is being grossly overstated," another insider says. "The kids are going through a challenging time, but Kate doesn't feel this is something that should be discussed publicly. It is a private matter."

The heavily publicized divorce between Kate and Jon undoubtedly has been difficult for the kids, however, Kate has said they are handling it well. "They're just amazing, resilient, loving kids," she said.

The eight kids include sextuplets -- Alexis, Hannah, Leah, Aaden, Collin and Joel, as well as twins Cara and Mady.

I find it amazing, frankly. I mean, why did they even go through with another season? It wasn't nearly long enough for any of those kids to get over the messy divorce. They must have been hurt and angry and had no real sense of closure and then they're back on tv again. It's no wonder that they're acting out. Jon was right. No matter what his reasoning for it, he was right to say that this shouldn't go on. And it's not impossible that he came to the conclusion that his kids must be angry and hurt with both of them (cause they're kids. As adults we can reason out and understand why the divorce happened, but for children it's 'mommy and daddy aren't together, why aren't they?' which could lead to all kinds of hurt). And I'm not getting the impression that Kate is helping them out all that much in terms of their mental and emotional stability. But it does make me wonder why Jon's opinion was dismissed by the judge. Being the father doesn't make him less capable of looking out for his childrens well being. I guess it comes from the stereotype that it's the mother who knows best and is the nurturer who has the best for her children in mind irregardless. I guess they forget that mothers can make bad selfish decisions, too. I'm not saying anything for Jon's motives because they could have been well selfish, but to deny the order just because of that, without really and I mean really taking a look into what's best for the children and how this could effect them is just ridiculous.

@ Maryanne....Yeah, that wording had me thinking it WAS the twins, but "two of the twins" was very strange. @ Bubbles...I agree, any expulsion of a 6 year old is very disturbing, I mean, come on, THEY'RE SIX!

Big BOO BOO - it's 2 of the TUPLETS not 2 of the twins (and doesn't twins imply 2 anyway making it redundant to say 2 of the twins)?

Jon was right that the kids should no longer be on TV. What I don't understand is how a judge has to the right to overrule what a father thinks is best for his children. Kids should not be allowed on TV unless BOTH parents sign a waiver. This expulsion should be a red flag for Kate. How many six year olds are expelled from school? Never heard of that in my life. Kate needs to get a clue and let her kids retire from TV!

kate is so clueless about the kids she wouldn't know HOW they are reacting to the divorce. Plus their feelings don't even take a close second to her own, so she doesn't know OR care what they feel. As long as Chris-the-Pap (might be related to a Not-A-Nanny) takes her pictures at Target, FedEx and the school bus (whoopsie, not the school bus or we'd see the Missing Tups), she isn't interested in any other things happening around her. To her, life is just an on-going photo op!
