Michael Jackson Fans In An Uproar

Fans of Michael Jackson are up in arms about a plan to air an Oprah episode about male sexual abuse victims after an episode about the death of the pop star and his legacy.

Oprah Winfrey

Michael Jackson fans are livid after learning Oprah Winfrey will air a show on male molestation victims right after her Michael Jackson episode.

What could be a coincidence is being given greater weight as purposeful because Oprah did the same thing back in 2005 -- she aired a show about pedophilia during Jackson's molestation trial.

This time, the sex abuse show airs on Friday and the Michael Jackson episode airs Monday.

A rep for the Official Michael Jackson Fans of Southern California told TMZ, "We are both angry and disappointed in Oprah's constant need to reference child molestation shows prior to airing Michael Jackson related episodes. Her tone seems to speak volumes."

Reps for Oprah's production company told TMZ, "There is no connection whatsoever between the two shows. This is purely coincidental."

"How can something so obvious be a coincidence?" wondered the fan club dude.

can she ever do what Michael did, no she can not. Michael make her what she is today and if not b/c of the good things money did for people that make his money go away, who is this woman that will saying what does not make any sense. If she is looking for a boy of 17 years to sleep with her, let her get one outside. Michael is rich b/c half of his worth belongs to children and a lot of families. get off woman

Oprah is a hipocrit. She uses famous people to make herself popular. I never liked her and I never will. She should be thankful that Michael brought her the biggest audience ever and she became known across the globe. She has so much money and does give it out as long as the cameras are on her. When did Michael ever request cameras to give to the less fortunate? However, that man was an angel, something I cannot say for her. She is just so fake - glad she is leaving her show.

Oprah is a selfish selfish woman. Never liked her and I don't trust her.

Oprah needs to really thank Michael's family for him being on her show! Her ratings were low before he came on her show back then. Oprah uses famous people, she makes her money off of them. without famous guest, she would be nothing! It is disgusting for sure.

She did the same thing a few weeks ago...the week she had Lisa Marie on. There were a few episodes about child abuse that week, as well.

This woman is powerful, to the extent that she has total control over what is aired and when. Her constant response that the timing is merely a coincidence, insults the intelligence of everyone who has ears and eyes. I can understand that she "molestation issues" being a victim herself, but clearly she is not able to conduct her journalistic duties without being biased. For someone who told her staff that she did not want to give MJ any "shine" on her show, she sure can't keep his name out of her mouth, nor the names of his family members. She has made it very clear over the years that she believed him to be guilty, even after MJ was found NOT GUILTY BY A COURT OF LAW. The Jackson's should have slammed the door shut in her face and why they granted the interview in the first place, I will never understand. We know how Michael felt about Oprah and her treatment of him, AFTER..he granted her the interview that put her on the map. He would have never wanted his kids to be interviewed by the press and sure as hell not by Oprah Winfrey. All this during November Sweeps Week...uuhhmm..just another coincidence? I feel another west coast earthquake coming...Michael rolling over in his grave.

Katherine & Joe Jackson need to be more careful when it comes to Michael's children. Uncle Randy Jackson may have been right about Oprah's sudden interest in everything MJ as being bad for his kids. The phony "coincidence excuses" that Oprah Winfrey uses are pathetic. Oprah, a media mogul who is responsible for what, and when, something is put on her show, proves one thing: YOU CAN HAVE BILLION OF DOLLARS AND STILL BE IGNORANT & LOW CLASS.

It makes sense to air the most highest rated show during the November sweeps period. And the mostestation show is on Friday because that's when Tyler Perry has his Janet Jackson movie coming out "Colored Girls" so makes sense to air that before the Jackson interview.

Coincidence? hmmmm....male molestation show where young man killed abuser also aired the week of Lisa Marie Presley's interview if my memory serves me correctly. Now molestation show on Friday preceding the interview with Michael's parents which airs on Monday...coincidence???? hmmmm.....do we see a pattern, or theme, here???? There sure seems to be a lot of molestation shows on Oprah of late. Give me a break, people. I think another word for this type of programming is called "ratings."
