Torres Backs Up Jenn Sterger
Allison Torres, friend of sports reporter Jenn Sterger, says she saw Brett Favre's inappropriate photos with her own eyes. Will this help or hurt Sterger's claims against Favre?
Allison Torres, friend of former New York Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger said she saw the cell phone pictures of Brett Favre's nether regions right after he sent them.
Torres made the claims to Steppin' Out magazine just days after the married Favre admitted to sending texts to Sterger.
Torres: I saw it with my own eyes
Torres said Sterger isn't a stranger to celebrity suitors and that the two just laughed about the inappropriate text from Favre.
"I actually saw it when he sent it. We just laughed when he did it," she told Steppin' Out. "We talked about it like girlfriends talk about that kind of stuff. You have to understand that Brett Favre isn't the first celebrity that tried to hook up with her."
She went on to say that Sterger and Favre texted regularly during his time with the Jets and that it was no secret that he wanted to hook up with her.
Still sexual harassment?
Who knows if what Torres says is true -- Steppin' Out isn't really considered a highly-regarded journalistic publication.
If what she says is true, then Sterger might not have a sexual harassment case after all. She recently retained legal counsel after the sexually-charged texts and voicemails surfaced last month.
It'll be interesting to see what comes out of this situation, if anything.
