Audrina Patridge Sent Home

Last night's Dancing With the Stars was a real shocker, with season favorites Jennifer Grey and Audrina Patridge on the chopping block. Who had to hang their dancing shoes up?

Audrina Patridge

The Dancing With the Stars judges were shocked that The Hills' Audrina Patridge and Dirty Dancing's Jennifer Grey were under the red elimination light. Voters decided it was time to send Audrina back to the hills. Did they get it right?

Even though Kurt Warner and Anna had the lowest judges' scores after their awkward paso doble only earned them 22 points, voters kept the likeable NFL champ in the game. After dancing what judges dubbed her best dance, Bristol Palin was announced safe.

DWTS: Judges were surprised

One by one the dancers were given the green light, leaving the shocking final two, Grey and Patridge, standing side-by-side. "I'm almost at a loss for words. This is ludicrous! That these two -- one of these -- is going home is absolutely nonsense!" Goodman said.

After Audrina Patridge was told she was going home, she looked a little shell-shocked as she gave her final goodbye. "I just know that I had so much fun this entire experience and I made such good, new friends and Tony has been such an amazing teacher. I'm definitely going to be coming back to visit... and thank you [to the judges] for all the comments, it did help as motivation. And all the fans, for all the support and everything. It's been a fun journey," she said.

Kylie Minogue performed and Heart absolutely killed it performing Baracuda. "Iconic rockers" Bret Michaels, Dee Snider and Alice Cooper weighed in on their favorites. Cooper called Bristol "a breath of fresh air" and named Kurt Warner as one of his favorites.

DWTS: Brandy versus Jennifer

Even though Jennifer was in jeopardy this week, many still feel she could win it all, including Brandy's brother Ray J.

"Jennifer Grey is for real. I think Jennifer Grey, she got that Dirty Dancing thing going on, you know what I mean?" he told MTV News. "And whenever you dirty dancing, it's gonna be some competition, please believe that."

sorry that the public has to be so stupid, the show is about who the best dancer is. audrina ,jennifer and brandy are great. they are voteing for the wrong reasons. bristol should have been gone bye, bye a long time ago. i am from alaska and i wouldn't vote for bristol.

The Republicans or TeaPartiers are acting like Mad Hatters. They vote in mass for Bristol Palin, knowing that she has no talent for dancing and is clearly the worst one competing. They have turned this show into a popularity contest--nothing to do with dancing ability. Do not be surprised if Jennifer Grey is eliminated next week. These Sarah Palin fans have already destroyed the 2010 elections--they think that if they knock out the more qualified or experienced candidates and get people like Sharon Angle and O'Donnell elected, this will make Palin look even better. Palin is such a loon that she cannot find ONE incumbent to endorse, and they all have to be people with no previous experience or knowledge. Whatever your political affiliation is--this is dangerous. Same thing with DWTS--Sarah Palin and her fans are trying to turn this into a political game where experience or talent counts against you. Give power to the weakest contestant. The viewers who watch this show every year should be very very angry and DWTS should be learning that these viewers dislike this dancing competition becoming the Sarah Palin Show. What's next--replace all the judges with three members of the Palin Family????

The voting is bass ackwords. When you vote for your favorite, then the votes are spread out. Audrina may have been everyone's second choice but if she was not anyones No. 1, she would get no votes and go home. If everyone just voted for the one person who they think should go home, then every week the least liked would go home.

It's easy to see that the Republicans are mobilized to keep Bristol in the game even though she has not one trace of talent...

I was livid when Audrina was eliminated. Jennifer messed up and Bristol should have been eliminated weeks ago even before the ape mishap. People are just jealous of Audrina's six pack. Sorry Audrina, you should have not been eliminated. Those Republicans, they'll vote for anyone just because they're a replublican!

I seldom watch DWTS now............for this very reason. It's no longer a contest with the best dancers winning. Now...it's just a popularity contest. There's no way Audrina and Jennifer should have been on the "chopping block". In my opinion, the 3 best dancers are Audrina, Jennifer and Brandy. Come on people........let's base this on what the show is all about DANCING,
