Heidi Klum puts on her diva hat for this week's Project Runway. Not only did she make them change their models, but she hangs out in the workroom -- making all the designers a tad nervous.
Project Runway: The challenge
Heidi wants the designers to make a mini collection of three looks using the fabric she already had in her line, mostly blacks and grays. She walks around the room critiquing each designer -- she hates Gretchen's "butt ruching" and can't even get Mondo's cropped top over her head.
The cheating scandal
As with every
Project Runway show, there is a twist. The booted designers return to help the contestants. Ivy's main job seems to be to bring drama to the show, as she accuses Michael of cheating by taping his dress to his model.
Tim Gunn, always the voice of reason, is not happy -- but is able to find no evidence (cameras didn't catch anything) so tells the designers to play nice.
project runway: The judging
The three lowest scores go to Michael (too trendy and over accessorized), Christopher ("sadness personified") and Gretchen (Heidi said the biker shorts "hurt her eyes a little bit").
The three highest scores go to April, Andy and Mondo with the winner as…Andy! His pieces were "exciting" and "super wearable" and can even be purchased in the HKNB Heidi Klum for New Balance collection on Amazon.com.
The judges then decide who is out: Christopher or Michael C? Christopher gets the boot this week.
Next week's Project Runway features Mayor Bloomberg.
