DWTS: Ballroom Recap!

The second week of Dancing With the Stars got underway last night with the jive and the quickstep. Sadly, since he was eliminated last week, there was no David Hasselhoff.

Those performing the quickstep included Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani, Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer, Bristol Palin (whose mother Sarah Palin was in the audience, causing a room full of boos) and Mark Ballas, Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas, and The Situation and Karina Smirnoff.

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough

As expected, The Situation didn't impress the judges with his dancing. Although he showed determination and improvement from last week, he still landed at the bottom of the quickstep board with an 18. While the others fared well and pleased the judges, it was Audrina Patridge who scored the highest quickstep with a 23.

Those shaking it to the jive included Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough, Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower, Brandy and Maks Chmerkovskiy, Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel, Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke, and Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya.

Audrina and Kyle continued to entertain the judges and Margaret Cho improved from last week, but it was Jennifer Grey who once again earned the top spot for her dance, as well as the entire week, with a 24. On the other end of the spectrum, Brandy disappointed the judges with her performance this week, but it was Michael Bolton who earned the lowest score for the jive, and overall, with a 12.

The pigeon-toed freak, known as the Situation danced like a goofy little girl. He and Cho need to go!

This article is an example of the inaccurate liberal reporting that FOX is accused of putting out. There was no roomful of boos and it was probably directed at the judges for their obviously low scores (even though they were the highest of the night) for Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough.
