Hayden avoids eviction for win!

It all came down to an oil rig salesman and a college student during the CBS finale of Big Brother 12. Hayden's social and competitive game helped him edge out Lane for the win.

Hayden avoids eviction for win!

Thirteen housemates, two secret saboteurs and 12 evictions later, Big Brother 12 has crowned 24-year-old Arizona State college student, Hayden Moss, the winner.

Going into Wednesday night's Big Brother 12 finale, the secret alliance of the Brigade was standing strong among the final three. Hayden, Lane, and Enzo's Brigade came to a screeching halt as the thick as thieves house brothers fought for the last two spots in the house.

Enzo, having lost the first part of last week's head of household challenge, had to sit on the side while Hayden and Lane competed in the final head of household competition of the season. The winner would score the ultimate power of securing a spot in the final two and choose who would be going with them. In a tense and close game, Hayden came out victorious and had to evict Enzo or Lane. Hayden chose to evict Enzo and square off against Lane for the $500,000 prize.

Hayden and Lane were put on the chopping block and questioned by the jury (previously evicted housemates). The jury wanted answers about each finalist's social game and competitive game. They also wanted answers about the secret Brigade alliance and who deserved the money for being a master manipulator.

The jurors locked in their decision, and in a four-three vote chose Lane as the last evicted housemate, leaving Hayden as the last man standing. The college student took home a cool $500,000 prize but Lane didn't go home empty-handed. The oil rig salesman from Texas snatched $50,000 for coming in second place.

Britney took home $25,000 for being America's favorite houseguest.

If you think you have what it takes to manipulate your way to $500,000 check out CBS.com. CBS has renewed the reality show, so Big Brother 13 auditions should be coming soon.
