Where did Deanna Barnett get the right to say "most viewers" expected Jackie to win? You were so wrong. Admit it.You called this wrong, not "most viewers". Obviously "most viewers" voted for Michael Grimm, the clear winner. He was surprised. It has been a show business saying for years not to go up against children or animals, which could have been his fear. Although Jackie has an amazing talent so does Michael, and this was a contest for a Las Vegas show and extensive tour. Certainly now anywhere a 10 year old belongs. Thinking voters could have been expected to take that into account when voting. I wish all 4 final contestants Great Futures, because they were all fantastic.! Yes, I voted for Michael.

Great Mike its nice to see a guy from Mississippi win , as my father was from Woodland ,Mississipi and he would say the south will rise again, and you sure have done that with your singing. Best of luck in the future and take good care of your grandma she's special .

Congratulations Michael . I agree with Linda. I also have been watching Michael Grimm all along . I knew he would win last night . I got so happy and excited when I saw him sing the night before " When A Man Loves A Woman ." As I watched last night, as they announced him as winner I clapped my hands so hard , and yelled (I knew it, I knew it ) I can't wait to hear more of him , and how he will be blessing others with his singing . I believe Michael Grimm is a very humble and sensitive young man. I very happy he won.

Congratulations Michael! I have been pulling for you since I first heard you sing! You have a strong mature y voice and I love your music/guitar. I have a son a couple of years older than you so what I am about to say just take as some motherly advise. Smile you have a great one you need to use it more! Cudos to your grandparents they did a wonderful job of raising a sweet senistive grandson. One last comment get busy and crank out that first CD. I can't wait to buy it!
