Jennifer Dunne, a Wynn Resorts Ltd spokeswoman, confirmed Paris Hilton and Cy Waits' blacklisting to the Associated Press. According to Dunne, Hilton is officially "barred from Wynn Las Vegas and Encore."
Dunne also added, Cy Waits was "separated" from his responsibilities as top managing partner of the Tryst Nightclub at Wynn and XS The Nightclub at Encore. He held those roles for less than a week.
The bold maneuver on Wynn's part was made after Paris Hilton and Cy Waits were arrested for investigation of felony cocaine possession. Charges have not been filed yet.
According to the original police report, the trouble for Hilton began when a police officer pulled over the black Escalade that she and Waits were driving down the Las Vegas strip. Allegedly, the vehicle had marijuana smoke wafting from it.
Things got worse for Hilton after she asked to use the washroom at the Wynn Resort. According to the report, a small plastic bag with 0.8 grams of cocaine fell into the police officer's hand after Paris Hilton went into her purse for lip balm.
In updated news, more information from the police report was made public September 1. The report claims a butt of a marijuana cigarette was found in the black Escalade the couple was driving.
Cy Waits, who was the driver, allegedly had bloodshot eyes, reeked of alcohol and couldn't pass a balance and walk-and-turn field sobriety test. Waits' lawyer, attorney Richard Schonfeld, said he passed an eye test that checked the dilation of his pupils.
Results from blood drawn when Cy Waits was booked in Clark County jail won't be released until the case comes to court, according to Officer Bill Cassell.
Paris Hilton is scheduled for arraignment October 27, while Cy Waits is set to return to court November 29.
No word from Paris Hilton or Cy Waits' camp about being shunned by Wynn.
