The daughter of Laurence Fishburne decided she would gain fame by the most proven method -- a sex tape.

But instead of having one she made privately in the past "accidentally" discovered and released a la Paris Hilton, Kendra Wilkinson and Kim Kardashian, Montana Fishburne has gone one step further and contracted with Vivid Entertainment to create a full-fledged porn made to look like a homemade sex tape.

There's nothing homemade about it, however.

The 19-year-old daughter of Matrix actor Laurence Fishburne said, "I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape."

Montana seems to forget that Kim, Paris et al had one thing going for them: They at least had the savvy to pretend they had nothing to do with the release of their tapes and the profits, making sure they appeared to be the victims of the situation learning a very important lesson. Montana is just being a porn star. At the end of the day there isn't much difference -- taping sex is taping sex -- but even that slightest shift in public perception can make or break a reality career.

What does Morpheus think of his little girl taking it for fame? "[My dad] is very upset," she told TMZ. "I heard that he's mad at me but I haven't spoken to him yet. I feel pretty confident that I can work things out with him." Highly delusional, Montana adds, "I think he wants to support me in everything I do, and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive."

Doubtful. In fact, we hear dad was so upset that his friends tried to help out and buy all the copies of the tapes. They hired Yale Galanter -- the same attorney who just got Charlie Sheen off -- to negotiate with Vivid, but the DVDs had already shipped.

Vivid head Steve Hirsch told TMZ, "It's true that we had several conversations with Mr Galanter. We would have stopped shipment but it was too late. We continue to have the utmost respect for all involved."

And it gets better: Turns out this isn't Montana's first time at the rodeo. A couple of years back she starred in a skin flick called Phatty's Rhymes & Dimes 14 and is clearly pictured on the DVD case with the caption "Daughter of famous male celebrity movie star."
