It’s a baby boy for Diablo Cody!

Thirty-two-year-old Diablo Cody received worldwide critical acclaim and an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in 2008 for the movie Juno, a comedy about a teenager's unplanned pregnancy.

In a post on her Twitter page, Diablo Cody writes, "We had our boy early this morning! Marcello Daniel Maurio, 7 pounds, 2 oz, lightly mustachioed."

Cody and the baby's father Dan Maurio married in 2009.

Diablo Cody also created the series United States of Tara, a comedy about a mother with dissociative identity disorder which stars Toni Collette. It was recently picked up for a third season.

Variety has reported that Diablo Cody will be adapting the Sweet Valley High book series into a movie. Cody will also produce the film adaptation with her manager, Mason Novick, Adam Siegel and Marc Platt.
